Taking cues from their kids, Katie and Adam Shapiro turned to Babyletto to bring their kids’ rooms to life and create spaces that feel uniquely their own.

On Finding Inspo...

Katie and Adam wanted to shape each room around their kids’ personalities. “We envisioned Vera’s room to be fun, really bright, and playful,” Katie said, with a designated area for her arts and crafts.

For their son, Albee, they went with a cooler, more grown-up vibe, mixing in bunk beds, shelves, and lots of storage to keep everything organized. A natural social butterfly, they turned his room into a space made for hanging out and growing up.

We got our inspiration for designing both rooms from their personalities. One felt fun, really bright, colorful, and playful, and the other was a little cooler and more grown up.

On Choosing Bondi and Lido Wave...

For Albee’s room, the Bondi Collection brings the perfect mix of function and flexibility, with a bunk bed and trundle that make hosting easy and a clean design that feels mature yet playful. 

In Vera’s room, the Lido Wave Collection became the heart of the space, with its energetic design reflecting her vibrant spirit. “She goes with the flow and loves the curves. It has that kid energy,” Adam explained. Both collections helped create rooms that feel perfectly tailored for them.
