RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

At Babyletto, we want to ensure that your little one’s new furniture is the perfect fit for your home. We understand that choosing the right pieces for a nursery or playroom is a big decision, which is why we offer flexible return options to give you peace of mind.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. We accept most returns within 30 days of delivery on babyletto.com orders. Items must be unmodified and in their original packaging. Please note that items marked as Final Sale or those from our Brand Partners are not eligible for return or exchange.


Need more time to decide?

Add Checkout+, Return and Package Protection to your order for an extended total of 60 days of free returns.

Exchanges:

We’re happy to offer a one-time exchange for the original item in your order. After that, any additional requests will follow our standard return policy.

Bundle & Promotions:

If an item from a bundle or promotion is returned, you will forfeit the discount originally applied to all the items in the bundle or promotion. Items in a bundle are eligible for a one-time exchange.

All returns require processing through our return portal or via a customer success specialist. Shipments received without this pre-registration will not qualify for a credit or refund. 

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery (60 days with Checkout +), unless otherwise noted. Additional guidelines and restrictions may apply.


Received A Damaged Item 


Received a damaged item or missing a piece? We can send you free replacement parts! Please start your request by visiting our parts page HERE.

For items that arrive to you in less than perfect condition, we will send you replacement pieces at no cost to you. To help us assess the issue, please submit details and photographs of the item and the packaging.


What is Checkout+, Free Returns/Package Coverage?

We offer return and package protection on all orders through Checkout+. By opting in at checkout, you will receive the following benefits:

 

Extended Return Window:  

Enjoy a total of 60 days from the date of delivery to decide if the item is right for you (an extra 30 days over our standard policy). 

Free Return Shipping:

We provide a prepaid shipping label at no additional cost to you. If you need to return an item for an exchange, refund, or store credit, your return shipping label is covered.

Full Item Refund:

Receive a 100% refund of the purchase price for the returned item(s) once received and processed at our California facility. Avoiding costly return fees.

Package Protection:

If your package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, you can submit a claim, and upon approval, receive a same-item replacement at no extra cost.

Return coverage covers all items in the cart, so you do not need to purchase return coverage for each item.

 

*If you choose not to purchase return coverage, you can still process a return through the portal within 30 days of delivery — however, you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label and any return fees associated.


Return/Exchange Eligibility & Requirements


To qualify for a return or exchange, items must meet the following criteria:


Return Window:

Must be initiated within 30 days of delivery (or 60 days if you purchased Checkout+ Protection).

Condition:

Items must be in "like-new" condition. We cannot accept returns on items that have been damaged after delivery or show significant signs of use.

Packaging:

Items must be returned in their original boxes with all internal protective packaging. Please include all parts, pieces, and printed materials.

Modifications:

Products must not be modified in any way.

Returning:

All returns must be shipped to our designated facility in California. Labels provided via Checkout + will automatically be addressed to this location.

For exchanges:

We are pleased to offer seamless exchanges for your order. Your new order will ship out after we receive your returned item. An email confirmation will be sent when we have processed your returned item, and then a new tracking email will be sent. 

Mattresses:

Return requirements vary by model: In all cases, original packaging must remain completely unopened and fully intact.

  • Babyletto x Avocado — These mattresses ship in a box with a plastic seal. To be eligible for return, the outer box must be undamaged and fully sealed, and the plastic wrap around the mattress must remain completely intact and undisturbed.
     
  • Pure Core — These mattresses ship flat in a sealed poly bag and must be unopened in its original condition to be eligible for return. The plastic seal on the outside of the mattress must remain completely intact and undisturbed.
     
  • Essential, Trundle, Full Kids & Twin Kids — These mattresses ship rolled and vacuum-sealed. To be eligible for return, the item must be completely unopened: the outer box must be undamaged and fully sealed, and the mattress must remain in its original compressed, plastic-wrapped packaging inside the box.



Items ineligible for return/exchange:

 

  • Bedding Products (Including Sheets): Generally ineligible for return or exchange. However, you may submit a request for review through our portal. To be considered, items must be completely unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by photos of the item. All bedding requests are subject to approval by our team.
  • Specific Brands: Newton Baby Mattresses and Organic Crib Waterproof Protector by Avocado
  • Other: Gift cards and any items marked as “Final Sale”

 


How to Initiate a Return/Exchange


Start your request:

Visit our Returns Portal Here. If you are returning or exchanging an item received as a gift, simply select the "Returning a gift?" option on the portal page. Refunds for gifts will be issued via Gift Card.
 

Get your label:

Once you complete the online form, a prepaid shipping label and return instructions will be emailed to you once approved. 

Package Your Return:

Please include all parts, pieces, printed materials, and accessories, along with the product's original packaging. 


Refunds & Processing



Inspection:

Once your return arrives at our California facility, please allow 3–5 business days for our team to inspect the items.
 

Refund:
Once approved, your refund will automatically be issued to your original payment method. Gift card refunds will be issued digitally.

Checkout+ Coverage:
Please note that the original Checkout+ coverage fee is non-refundable.
