8-in-1 Convertible Crib with All-Stages® Conversion Kits

Our crib doesn’t work properly or roll from room to room without a snag in the wheels and excessive noise when moving. Not ideal considering this is a main selling point for the mini crib/bassinet function. We’ve contacted customer service and they have neglected to offer support. They are just randomly sending parts that don’t make any difference and have stopped responding all together now despite repeated messages. We are extremely disappointed in this crib and feel for the price we would expect it to at least work properly. Further the crib in walnut doesn’t look nice at all. The color stain of the wood is ugly and difficult to match other walnut furniture unless you buy the definitively cheap looking matching dresser. It simply looks and feels like a cheap product and I wish we had gone with the nesting instead.

If I could return this product, I would. After six months, I deeply regret buying it.

1. It is extremely poor quality. The "wood" isn't real and scratches extremely easily. If you even graze it with a bolt, washer, or allen key, it scratches. As you turn the bolts into place, you will no doubt scratch the finish even if you are careful. I bought a touch up marker. It smells awful, leaks, and just leaves a blob of stain on the crib, which is splotchy.

2. The allen key is often unable to be turned 360 degrees because it'll hit part of the crib, making assembly take ages.

3. The wire frame for the mattress is very difficult to install. Two of the bolt heads stick out on mine and can't be twisted tighter without cracking the "wood". I'm debating buying a new crib because the edges of the bolt are sharp.

4. There aren't instructions from building up from one configuration to another. It just assumes you are starting from scratch, which is hard if you don't remember the type of screw you used.

I was more satisfied with my $100 delta baby portable crib than I was this crib. I will say, they were quick to send a new piece when I realized one part arrived damaged from transit.

I wish whoever approved this design had been made to put it together without scratching it or dropping the allen key several hundred times while also managing being a new parent.
