Orders including oversized items (assembled dressers and select seating) will be shipped by a large parcel carrier. A signature may be required for your area, in which case the carrier will contact you to make an appointment. Delivery time for these orders is 10-20 business days unless otherwise stated.

When will I receive my Yuzu convertible Crib?
We only stock cribs that are ready to ship out! Delivery takes anywhere from 1-2 weeks depending on your location.
What is a Midi Crib?
It’s our Goldilocks size – not too big, not too small, bigger than a bassinet but smaller than a traditional crib. The midi is perfect for small nurseries and shared rooms.
It is similar in size to both a Pack and Play and a standard MINI crib.

In one small but mighty box you’ll find all the hardware, mattress supports, locking caster wheels, furniture parts and conversion kits that you need to assemble any advertised stage. What else do I need to buy?
Just a standard crib mattress, and sheets to fit each stage you want to convert to.
For the bassinet and midi stages, pads are included. However, should you want more support for baby in the midi stage, we sell a compatible 4-inch Pure Core Midi Mattress w/ Hybrid Cover (M5397C) separately.

What sheets do I need?
It depends which stage(s) you intend to use. If you want to take advantage of the 4 main stages and all associated configurations, then you will need THREE (3) different sheet sizes – a bassinet sheet, a midi crib sheet, and a standard crib sheet.
Please note that our bassinet and midi sizes are unique, so we designed sheets to fit them perfectly. They’re also 100% organic and ultra-soft for baby’s sensitive skin!

What are the included pads made of?
Both pads have a waterproof cover with a cotton/polyester fabric face to minimize noisy crinkling. We use food-grade polyethylene to waterproof the mattress instead of toxic vinyl or PVC. Below the waterproof cover is polyester and modacrylic batting which serves as a fire barrier, and a breathable and recyclable polyester core which regulates heat while sleeping better than typical polyurethane foam.

Do I need tools to transition from one stage to another?
Assembly for any stage or for transitioning between stages will require a Philips head screwdriver (not included), and the included Allen wrench and hardware pack (screws and bolts). We’ve provided extra hardware, but you’ll need to hold on to the wrench that comes in the original package.

Is it difficult to assemble?
Not at all. We’ve broken down the process into digestible steps to create the most seamless assembly experience. Instead of one textbook-sized manual, we’ve provided 3 separate instruction manuals – one for each of the following stages:

What’s the difference between the included midi pad and the mattress that is sold separately?
There are only 2 differences between the included pad(s) and the one sold separately.
1. Thickness – the included midi Pad is 2-inches thick, whereas the sold separately option is 4-inches thick
2. Cover – the hybrid cover, which comes with the separately sold 4" thick mattress is quilted, removable, and machine washable. The dry cover, which comes with the included pads, should not be removed, must be wiped clean by hand rather than machine washed.

Can additional liners or pads be purchased?
The 4-inch Pure Core Midi Mattress (sold separately) comes with our removable and machine-washable Hybrid Cover. Should anything happen to that cover, or if you want to have a fresh one ready while the other is in the wash, we sell a replacement cover (T6009).
Do the crib wheels lock?
Yes, all 4 wheels lock.
Is it safe for a bassinet or crib to be on wheels?
This crib (+ bassinet and midi) has been thoroughly tested with and without wheels, so rest assured that portability will not compromise safety. However, we recommend keeping the wheels in the locked position when the product is stationary, which you can do by stepping down on the lever attached to each wheel. We also recommend removing baby before moving Yuzu from one space to another.
Is the full-size crib portable?
It can be! In the Full Size stage, you do have the option to forgo the curved feet and opt instead for wheels.

I haven't had a chance to use this with our baby yet, but I'm a bit disappointed in the quality after receiving the crib. The parts of the crib came without wrapping materials around each piece, so they were scratched and dinged. Thankfully, Babyletto quickly reshipped the damaged parts. However, they reshipped in the wrong color, so I had to wait an additional ~1.5 months to have all the parts for assembly. After receiving the third shipment, one piece was still scratched. I gave up and used a pen to fill in the scratch.
Upon assembly, I realized that the material itself just scratches easily. A small miss of an Allen Wrench key scratched the material. I'm not sure how well this will hold up with a baby/toddler, given that these furniture pieces are advertised to last until age five or so. While I love the look of the furniture and the concept, I'm not sure it's worth the price point. All other reviews were highly rated, so I was a bit surprised by this.

I bought the Yuzu 8 in 1 crib and 6 drawer dressers. Both products have defective parts. I requested replacement parts in early June and they’’ve push back the delivery date two time now! They’re saying it’s backorder until august. I’m due in August and my nursery is incomplete!

I really wanted to love the Babyletto Yuzu because of its modern design and versatility, but the bassinet stage has been a letdown. The included mattress is very thin and doesn’t feel supportive enough for a newborn. To make matters worse, it’s nearly impossible to find a properly fitting replacement—standard bassinet mattresses don’t work, and custom options are limited.
The sheets are another issue. The bassinet requires very specific measurements that you can only find on the Babyletto website, and they’re overpriced for what you get. It’s frustrating that a product marketed for newborns isn’t more compatible with readily available, affordable basics like sheets and a safe mattress.
If you’re considering this for the infant stage, I’d recommend looking into other options unless you’re prepared to spend extra on accessories directly from the brand.
